of , asks...

What two teams played at the 99'Men's World Cup and who were their goalies?

Answer provided by Referee Victor Matheson

First of all, the last World Cup was played in 1998 not 1999. The championship match in 1998 featured France vs. Brazil. The French keeper was Barthez while the Brazilian was Taffarel I believe.

Answer provided by Referee Stacy Kalstrom

I agree with Victor. The last men's WC was in 1998 and he has correctly identified the two goalkeepers who played for their teams in the final.
