Question Number: 25770Other 11/25/2011Fred Landau of Harrisburg, PA USA asks...This question is a follow up to question 25763 In the USSF Grade 9 Course there are a series of 3 role play scripts for the young referee to practice with a parent or other adult. They deal with pre-game intros, dealing with a problem coach and dealing with a problem parent. Since many new refs start with the Grade 8 Course they don't always see these valuable tools.
These role plays help the new referee prepare for these sutuations with confidence. Answer provided by Referee Michelle Maloney True, this. I believe it was Linda Velie-Snodgrass from Washington state that originally constructed this role playing module, specifically for youth, but easily used by any age.
