If player A puts his foot on the top of the ball rolls it forward without taking his foot off and snaps it backwards. Is this legal because it went forward before it went back? I have seen some refs look puzzeled and other call it.. Answer provided by Referee Chuck Fleischer No. Ask yourself this: Was the ball kicked and moved forward? If not the ball was never put into play.
Regards,
