Question Number: 15935Law 6 - Assistant Referee 7/3/2007RE: House league Under 13 Leah of Thornton, Ontario Canada asks...What happens if one of your clublinesmen does not show up? Answer provided by Referee Gary Voshol You appoint another, I would assume. Ask the league.
Club lines are aberations to the Laws, which provide for 2 neutral AR's to be appointed. Club lines are used when an AR unexpectedly does not appear.
Leagues that rely on teams having club lines, because of a shortage of referees, must have provisions in their rules to deal with a team that does not supply one.
