Yes it is, given one of the match officials seeing it entirely cross the goal line.

Regards,

Answer provided by Referee Keith Contarino

Are you asking if the ball was stopped before it completely crossed the goal line in mid air? And the keeper's feet were OFF the field of play? It's allowed for players to leave the field of play in the normal flow of play so this would have been a legal stop if that's what you're asking.

Answer provided by Referee Ben Mueller

Yes it is. Only thing that matters is the position of the ball. If the WHOLE ball is over the line, GOAL.

Answer provided by Referee Debbie Hoelscher

The ball is in play until it completely crosses over the entire boundry. If it is in the middle of a line (goal line/touchline), then it hasn't met that requirement and is still in play, no matter where the feet (or other body parts) are.

Answer provided by Referee Nathan Lacy

You answer your own question within the question. The ball croses the goal line - hence, goal. It matters not if it's in mid-air and/or how it is stopped from continuing into the goal any further. All the best,
