Question Number: 8995League Specific RE: Varsity High School Kelvin Pauole of Florence, SC USA asks...I understand that two yellow cards recieved by a single player equals a red card and that the player is removed from the game. Does this also mean that the player cannot play the next game and/or next two games? I'm unable to find high school soccer rules for the state of South Carolina. Answer provided by Referee Chuck Fleischer Kelvin here we have another opening in the National Federation of State High School Associations Soccer Rules. Nowhere therein does it say a disqualified player or coach be barred from the next contest(s). ..They do strongly recommend that each State High School Association adopt such a policy. Our referee association demanded such a policy from the leagues we service. The demands were met. ..You must look to the league in which you referee and if no such policy exists make the appropriate demands. ..Regards,
