Question Number: 32261Law 5 - The Referee 2/26/2018RE: Under 16 olivia of carindale, Queensland Australia asks...The following items summarise your powers and duties as a referee. However we got a bit carried away and included some items that are not in the Laws. Your task is to check Law 5 (and possibly other relevant Laws) to discover which items are part of your powers and duties and which are not. a) Act on the advice of the AR regarding incidents you have not seen B)Suspend or terminate the match because of outside interference C)Stop the match to allow treatment of a player you believe to be seriously injured D)Dismiss an AR for undue interference or improper conduct E)Provide authorities with appropriate reports F)Decide the result of a match by the toss of a coin Answer provided by Referee Joe McHugh Hi Olivia The basis behind such questions is to encourage the reading of the Laws of the Game. It would serve little purpose in giving the answer You will find the answers on pages 61-67 in the Laws and in Law 6 p 69 which can be viewed here http://static-3eb8.kxcdn.com/documents/278/082040_220517_LotG_17_18_FINAL_EN_150dpi.pdf Happy to assist if you have any queries or game questions.
