When one side is winning Answer provided by Referee Joe McHugh Hi If a game cannot be completed due to fighting or a team deciding not to continue or outside interference such as poor weather, poor light, spectator behaviour then the game is abandonded and the facts are reported to the League by the referee as to the reason. View Referee Joe McHugh profileAnswer provided by Referee Richard Dawson HI Arowosaye, Sometimes teams forget or do not care about respect & fair play or circumstances of weather or outside interference or bad pitch conditions, poor lighting all force a referee to abandon the match and report the reasoning. . The ROC has guidelines in place that dictate what possible consequences are in store be it a replay, declare a winner or to punish the team responsible If there is one. Not the referees job to worry about it league takes over! Cheers
