Question Number: 30218Law 15 - Throw In 3/25/2016RE: N/A Peter Grove of Middlesbrough, North Yorkshire United Kingdom asks...This question is a follow up to question 30213 If you believe, as I do, that the old FIFA Q&A's can be looked to for guidance (at least where their provisions have not been superseded by later law amendments) then you might like to consider that the 2006 Q&A had the following: 'Is a player allowed to take a throw-in kneeling or sitting down? No. A throw-in is only permitted if the correct procedures in the Laws of the Game are followed.' Answer provided by Referee Joe McHugh Hi Peter Excellent point and one that I had forgot about. I agree that unless the Laws have been amended with specific changes since the Questions and Answers were superseded we can use them as part of our tacit knowledge / guidance of the game.
