Question Number: 29571Other 7/30/2015RE: Intermediate Under 13 Phil of Tarzana, CA United States asks...This question is a follow up to question 29566 Just FYI (and also very trivial), a team of Stanford mathematics professors determined that the side is facing up when the coin is tossed, is slightly more likely to land facing up (because it spends more air time face up).
Oh, and more people call heads than tails. (Sorry, I guess this has been a slow day.)lol Answer provided by Referee Richard Dawson I liked the idea of rock paper scissors but could not convince the powers that be! lol

I liked it when the teams could make a choice of kick off or direction of play. Some teams want the ball yet just end up staying on the side that they warned up on when they win the toss.
