Question Number: 28140Law 12 - Fouls and Misconduct 1/26/2014RE: rec Adult mark rich of royalton, vt usa asks...This question is a follow up to question 28099 The defensive team builds ' wall' 10 yards back from the ball . The offensive team has a free kick. Can the offences build their on wall - say 5 yards from the ball in an effort to 'blind' the goalkeeper - then move out of the way just in time, for the kicker?

Yes that is allowed under the Laws and some teams have done this by placing two players directly in front of the ball. However many teams feel that it using up two players in a position that may be of little benefit to the team in event of a save, clearance, etc. so most don't bother.
