Bob of olyphant, pa USA asks...

Player is in offsides position ball is kicked to keeper by defender, Offensive Player runs to ball and kicks it into goal was player offsides?

Hi Bob
This cannot be offside because the ball has been played by an opponent. It must be played / touched by a team mate for offside to be considered.

Why would you even consider offside? Offside is ONLY judged when the ball is played by a teammate. In your scenario, the ball is played by an opponent. No offside.
