Question Number: 27518Law 10 - Method of Scoring 6/11/2013RE: rec Under 14 Ruan of gauteng, johanesburg southafrica asks...I the goalkeeper caught the ball then i spilt it but i caught it again before the ball was over the line but i was over the line is this considered a goal Answer provided by Referee Joe McHugh Hi Ruan It is the position of the ball that counts not the position of the player. So all of the ball has to be over all of the goal line for a goal to be awarded.
