This question is a follow up to question 26108

Perhaps you should clarify that the answers on Q 26108 assume that the FK was taken from outside of the PA.

That is a good point and the assumption was made that it was a free kick outside the penalty area.
The answer has been clarified accordingly.

If the free kick was taken from inside the penalty area, a pass to the keeper will never put the ball into play as it must leave the penalty area to be put into play
