View Referee Keith Contarino profileAnswer provided by Referee Joe McHugh Hi Jason Yes the advice to referees is to restart the game with a whistle after a caution. If however the team take the free kick without a whistle after a caution and it has no effect on the game then the referee can allow play to continue.
