Answer provided by Referee Joe McHugh Hi Any kicked restart within the penalty area by the defending team must leave the penalty area before it can be touched by another player and is in play.

Oops. Therefore, we retake the DFK and remind the players to let the ball exit the penalty area before anyone touches it again.
