Question Number: 24989Law 10 - Method of Scoring 5/22/2011RE: select, rec Under 17 J of Palmyra, Pa USA asks...Can a goal keeper score directly by punting the ball from his penalty area? Answer provided by Referee Michelle Maloney Of course. The ball was in play, the keeper punted/kicked it, the opposing goalkeeper did not keep it out of her net - voila! Goal!

In theory, a goalkeeper could throw the ball into the opposing ball (assuming the keeper could throw it 80 yards or so.) Indoor and small field rules limit how far one can kick/throw the ball, but not TLOG.
