shellie caster of washington , pennsylvania usa asks...

on a corner kick it the kicker kicks the ball and it bends and goes in the net without touch an player is that also considered a goal, thought it had to touch a player ????

A goal can be scored directly from a corner kick. It does not have to touch another player.

Hi Shellie
A goal can be scored directly from a corner kick. The ball is in play when it is kicked and moves. A goal cannot be scored directly from a throw in.

Nope. Here's direct from Law 17 in the current Laws Of The Game:

A goal may be scored directly from a corner kick, but only against the opposing team.
