Question Number: 24087Law 10 - Method of Scoring 10/5/2010RE: REC. Under 11 MITCH CLINE of Aledo, TX USA asks...If only a part of the soccer ball crosses the plane, is that considered a goal or does a majority of the ball have to cross the plane to be considered a goal? Answer provided by Referee Joe McHugh Hi Mitch
Very simple really. All of the ball must cross the line or plane of the line for a goal to be scored.
