whats considered to be the touchline?

Because all boundary lines are 'in', the touchline includes the entire plane bounded by the outside edge of the line along the side of the field (from the ground to the top of the sky).

Hi Referee Hopkins
The touch line is the term given to the line on the side of the field from corner flag to corner flag. It is incorrectly referred to as the sideline by some.
