Question Number: 23545Law 8 - Start and Restart of Play 6/23/2010RE: Rec Adult Sean of Charles Town, WV USA asks...This question is a follow up to question 23513 Thank you, I was watching play the whole time, I was the closest defender to the play and the first one dribbled past when the ref called 'play on,' there was no quick kick. Answer provided by Referee Michelle Maloney Then the referee needs to be re-educated. Please contact the assignor, and tell them what you told us. He or she would be the best one, or perhaps a local instructor or assessor could have a conversation with the referee and see if this can be remedied.
