Question Number: 23121Other 4/15/2010RE: Rec Under 13 Bob of St. Louis, MO USA asks...This question is a follow up to question 23104 Right, that's the assumption I've always operated under. However, a friend pointed out that in other parts of TLOTG it specifically states 'another player' when it means that. So, I guess it's another of the unwritten assumptions we all know! Thanks for the verification. Answer provided by Referee Dennis Wickham IFAB, the folk who write the laws, tend to remove things that 'everyone knows.' One of the benefits of the USSF Advice To Referees is that it preserves in one place many of the traditions and interpretations that once were contained in the law book.
