When you are doing a kick off, can the ball be directly kicked towards the opposing goal, or does a player have to touch it before it can be kicked.

On a kick off, the ball is in play when it is kicked and moved forwards.A goal may be scored directly from a kick off.

On a kickoff, the kicker cannot kick the ball a second time until another player touches it. But, a goal would be scored if the ball was kicked directly into the opposing goal.

Johnny, you need to have a copy of the Laws of the Game. If you did you could see on Law 8, in section Kick-off that a goal may scored directly from a kick-off. I do not have a bible at my bedside table; guess which dog-eared book sits there?
