Question Number: 20977Law 10 - Method of Scoring 3/14/2009RE: Others Adult TRD of AD, AD UAE asks...Hi, assume the ball is still in play (inside the field) then it reaches the goalkeeper and he holds it in his hands then throws it a massive throw reaching and entering the opponent's goal (no one touched the ball apart from the first goalkeeper), is this considered a legal goal? Thanks Answer provided by Referee Gary Voshol Yes it is a goal. The goalkeeper playing the ball with her hands is no different than if she played it with her feet.

If the ball is in play, and if the keeper has the ball legally (not from a deliberate kick from a teammate or from a throw-in by a teammate) and has the heave to get the ball all the way to the other goal and past the other keeper, bully for him. GOOOOOOAAAAALLLLLLLLLL!!!!!!!
