Question Number: 15389Law 8 - Start and Restart of Play 5/5/2007RE: Competitive Under 15 Aubrey Waddell of Maryville, tennessee usa asks...How many offensive players can be inside the center circle for kickoff and where is this rule found? Answer provided by Referee Keith Contarino All 11 as long as they are in their own half of the field. Look at Law 8 The Start and Restart of Play and see Kick-off. The only requirement for players NOT to be allowed in the center circle deals with the defenders as they must be 10 yards from the ball and, hence, outside the center circle.
