The opposing goalie punted the ball out of her hands and the ball ended up bouncing very high and ended up going over our goalies head for a goal. It did not get palyed by anyone on either team is that a legal Goal? If you know the rule # as well I would appreciate it
thanks Answer provided by Referee Ben Mueller Yes it is! Ball need not touch anyone on a keeper punt.

View Referee Ben Mueller profileAnswer provided by Referee Keith Contarino The ball is in active play. There is no specific Law # that covers this. If the ball is in play and NOT from an indirect kick or throw-in, a goal may be scored. For that matter, had this been a goal kick, likewise, a goal may be scored directly.

View Referee Keith Contarino profileAnswer provided by Referee Chuck Fleischer The Law in question is Law 10 - Method of scoring. The ball has passed completely over the goal line under the cross bar and between the posts and the Laws of the Game have not been infringed by the team scoring the goal.
