Question Number: 14617Law 10 - Method of Scoring 12/20/2006RE: Under 19 navid mozaffari of tehran, tehran iran asks...hello
I have a quastion:
1) The goalkeeper take the ball with his hand, standing in his own penalty area, he trow the ball from his hand
to the another side of the field of play and the ball enter the another goalline in to the goal, nobody toch the ball.
is the goal correct?

Here's another way to look at it. Only restarts may be classified as indirect, requiring a second-touch before a goal is scored. And only SOME restarts at that - others are direct.
So we ask, was there a restart? NO. The keeper is merely continuing play. So a goal may be scored.
