Question Number: 13987Law 10 - Method of Scoring 9/30/2006RE: Under 14 c stanley of fargo, nd usa asks...Facts Goalie catches the ball on the goal line. Goalie steps over the end line and takes the ball over the end line. Is this a hand ball? Do you award a direct kick or a corner kick? Answer provided by Referee Keith Contarino How on earth could the keeper carrying the ball out of play be considered a handling violation? The ball is off the field of play. How can there be any foul? Award a corner kick unless he carried it into the goal in which case if all the ball crossed all the line award a goal.
