Question Number: 13935Law 8 - Start and Restart of Play 9/27/2006RE: rec Under 13 kevin new of loogootee, Indiana U.S.A. asks...We are forced by space allowed to play on a half size field, Can a team score on the kick off or must the ball touch another player before going in the net. Answer provided by Referee Ben Mueller Yes, they can score on the kick off. This was changed a while back.

View Referee Chuck Fleischer profileAnswer provided by Referee Debbie Hoelscher the LOTG state that a goal may be scored directly from a kickoff. Due to the modifications made by your local league to the size of your fields, there may be something in your league bylaws that addresses this point.
