Answer provided by Referee Keith Contarino

I'm wondering where in the world you even got the idea an attacker could not kick a ball inside the opponent's goal area. Did someone tell you this? As long as he has not in some way infringed the Laws of the Game (for example by being guilty of an offside infraction) he is free to kick or head the ball as he sees fit and is able.
