Question Number: 13223Law 8 - Start and Restart of Play 6/29/2006RE: Amateur Adult Alan of Birmingham, West Midlands England asks...This question is a follow up to question 12579 What happens if a fan runs onto the pitch and while the play is still active kicks the ball in the net.
Is that a goal? Answer provided by Referee Chuck Fleischer Ah, the proverbial outside agent interfering with the match. Play stops, he is whisked away whoever and play restarts with a dropped ball where it was when he interfered. No GOOOOoooooooooaaaalll.
